Next week, something very exciting is happening in my world - Consultants of Choice is opening for enrolments to the public. Eep! On the 1st of May 2023, people can officially sign up for the Consultants of Choice Foundation programme.
I’ve been running a beta programme for a group of guinea pigs, and more than 50 people have got stuck in to iron out the kinks and spot the bugs in the first module. Now, it’s time to open enrolments to the world.
Well, not the world. And maybe not you, either?

What Consultants of Choice is all about
I’ve been consulting for a decade. I’m really good at it. I started my own business when I was just 25, and by 31, I’d turned over a seven-figure revenue year. (Note: revenue. Not profit. I also had five staff, and rent, and big overheads, none of which I have retained. My days of seven-figure consulting are done.)
But I don’t want to do it anymore. I’d rather teach other people how to break free from the shackles of employment and low-rate contracting, so they can have the kind of lives they want. Corporate overhead is a taxing bore, and in 2023, there’s no reason to stay stuck in it.
So, I’ve mined my brain, and built an incredible programme with coaching, curriculum and community, to get as many people out in the world and succeeding as I can.

Why I think it’s awesome
I did lots of market research before I started this - check out my data points here - and it was clear to me that most people following me who want to be consultants… aren’t yet. Or they aren’t very far in. With that in mind, I’ve designed the course in a way that helps from day one - all the way through to day $1M (if that’s what you’re after.)
When I went looking for other alternatives, I was very underwhelmed. They were all either scammy ‘course creators teaching course creators to be course creators’ type things, or old, stuffy, management consulting workshops with no relevance to the modern world of work. So, I set about filling the gap.
I’ve listened to what people have told me about what they need - coaching and support, a network and community of like-minded peers, practical advice, and useful guidance and templates to get them started. Then, I’ve made all of them.
Why the Foundation programme is cool
I am so into the Foundation programme. You can read more about how I got here in this post, but basically: I decided to get to market faster, and help people more quickly, by co-creating the first iteration of the course along with my students.
That has a few awesome benefits:

The content and learning experience is tailored to what people need, because they’re part of designing it
It’s a valuable and insightful back-stage pass for people who might like to run a training programme of their own one day
It’s cheaper, so the first students take lower risk than the later ones (which seems fair, as next year’s students will be getting a much slicker done deal.)
